The double fatal crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Pawtucket Boulevard, according to the DA.

Officials say 26-year-old Tyriek Brown of Everett was allegedly racing with another vehicle on Pawtucket Boulevard in Lowell when his vehicle veered off the road striking two pedestrians on the sidewalk. Officials say speed was a factor in the crash.
