BOSTON — Marriott on Tuesday reopened the waterfront Boston hotel that hosted a leadership conference where dozens of people contracted coronavirus early in the course of the pandemic.

The Marriott Long Wharf hosted the leadership conference for 175 employees of Cambridge-based Biogen in late February. At least 100 of the COVID-19 cases in Massachusetts were linked to that conference in some way, along with more from other states and Europe.

The hotel’s website is accepting reservations starting Tuesday, although it says the fitness center, pool and M Club facilities remain closed.

Since the virus arrived in Massachusetts, the number of confirmed and probable cases in the state has grown to more than 110,000.

New data is published daily around 4 p.m.
