It is great that we can express ourselves freely on social media, but we have to be aware that some of your commentary on social media platforms can greatly effect the outcome of your case.

In the eyes of the law, your social media posts can be held against you, in any legal dispute that you happen to be a part of. When in doubt, don’t post. Insurance company or a defendant can use any post against you, if you give them the opportunity to.

We also recommend that you speak with friends & family and tell  them to refrain from tagging you on any posts. A situation could arise that a post, which may seem innocent at first, could haunt you later on during trial in your personal injury case.

In all things regarding social media, when in doubt… don’t post!
