Woman was a passenger in a car when she was ejected from the vehicle when the car door opened during a collision.
As a result of the accident, the woman sustained injury to her cervical spine. The woman brought suit against the car manufacturer claiming the vehicle had a defective door latch system. The case settled for $915,000.
