One person is dead after a house explosion early in the morning on February 24th, 2009 in Manchester, New Hampshire. The victim has only been identified as an elderly man. The explosion occurred just before 3 a.m. in a single family home at 160 Barrett St., Manchester, New Hampshire.

 

The blast destroyed the home; a cause for the explosion was not immediately pinpointed by investigators. This explosion followed three different home explosions in Massachusetts, the latest happening in the town of Somerset that killed the homeowner.
