In March, 2022 a 13 year-old girl was killed when a boat ran her over while she was tubing on an excursion in Aruba with her family.
Tragically, the same boating company caused our clients to suffer serious cranial and facial fractures when their parasailing rope broke, causing them to be struck forcibly on their face and heads with a heavy metal support bar. These types of tragic accidents are often completely preventable.
There are many legal avenues that can be pursued by persons injured during such tourism activities here in the United States, as opposed to filing lawsuits in foreign jurisdictions which are often very complicated to maneuver and provide less than adequate compensation for the injuries sustained by the individuals. Swartz & Swartz has extensive experience in handling tourism safety incidents around the world.
If you or your loved one has experienced such an event, please call James Swartz or David Angueira at (617) 742-1900. Our experienced team of tourism safety professionals are ready to help you and your loved ones.
