The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has reported that Panline USA is recalling about 8,000 units of their Little Jumpers Trampoline. The toy is being recalled due to a fall hazard that can be caused by the handlebar breaking while a child is jumping.

The product is a small, toddler-sized trampoline with a yellow and blue colored handlebar over the top of the trampoline for children to hold on to while jumping. The trampoline has a blue mat and orange pads with different colored circles printed onto the pads, yellow legs, and blue feet. A white label is sewn into the underside of the orange pads which has “786X Little Jumpers Trampoline” printed above the bar code.
Trampolines marketed for use in home environments present significant hazards, and the potential for serious injuries such as head, neck, and other impact injuries. Families should carefully consider whether they wish to have available such a product in homes or backyards, given such hazards.
