Approximately 1100 BabyHome USA high chairs have been recalled for a possible strangulation hazard.  According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC): “The front opening between the tray and seat bottom of the high chair can allow a child’s body to pass through and become entrapped at the neck. This poses a strangulation hazard to young children when the child is not harnessed.”

The high chairs retailed for approximately $150 and were sold at Babies R Us, Amazon and other juvenile retail outlets between March 2012 and February 2013.  Customers should stop using the chair immediately.
The recall includes Eat model high chairs in red, black, green, purple, navy, orange, and brown. The model number BH2104 is located on a label on the back of the high chair.  The recalled high chairs have lot numbers: BH00301/01-2012, BH00303/07-2012, BH00304/09-2012 and BH00304/09-2012. The lot numbers are located on a sticker affixed to the bottom of the footrest.
