Thousands of infant socks that were only available at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in the first three months of this year have been recalled because of a potential choking hazard.

Quebec-based Classic Characters issued the recall, which affects lime green socks that have a frog face and feet knitted onto the products.  Unfortunately, these frog appendages, which are small enough to be ingested by a child and occlude an airway, could fall off of the socks. Approximately 5,000 pairs of socks are being recalled, and parents are being warned to immediately stop using these children’s clothing items.
